AI for IBM i Wednesdays

THE new AI event for all IBM i enthusiasts

In addition to the new Code4i Fridays, we are delighted to welcome you to our new community event, AI for IBM i Wednesdays.

This event also takes place once a month—not on a Friday, but on a Wednesday—and is aimed at all IBM i enthusiasts from Europe (and wherever else you may be based).

What is it?

In principle, it’s a CRTDUPOBJ for Code4i Fridays, only for AI topics instead of purely VS Code topics. Specifically, this means:

  • THE community event for AI for and on IBM i.
  • One hour per month is dedicated to AI topics for IBM i.
  • Anyone who is interested can participate online free of charge.
  • Innovations in AI topics will be presented and discussed.
  • Anyone who has problems or questions about the topics can ask them here, and if possible, they will be solved directly or at least passed on to developers and, if necessary, manufacturers.
  • Participants share their experiences – everyone is welcome to join in!
  • Well-known and lesser-known faces from the IBM i AI community also take part and share their insider knowledge.
  • From time to time, we welcome one or more prominent figures from IBM and other companies as guests.
  • And much more!

Agenda for March 25, 2026, 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. CET

  • Welcome by Markus A. Litters
  • Current status of IBM Project Bob
  • Brief overview of important and helpful AI tools for and on IBM i
  • Questions and suggestions from participants
  • Announcement of next date
As this is a European Edition, the event will be held in English.
Of course, all participants outside Europe are also invited.
This is more about the time zone…

We look forward to welcoming many interested participants.

Please select at least one of the two options, or better yet, both!
